You Should Learn How to Row!

Are you looking for a new activity that will allow you to spend more time outside, meet people and get some exercise in Vancouver, BC? If you are, you should try rowing. Rowing is a water sport that provides a full body workout. It's a sport that can be done solo or with up to eight other people. In rowing you are using both sides of your body, both hands and both legs. You can go as hard or as light as you wish while you row. You can row year round, rain or shine, in cold temps or in the heat, which makes it a great sport for people who love spending time outside. When you take rowing lessons at Burnaby Lake Rowing Club you don' t need to worry about having your own boat or oars, as you can use clubhouse equipment.  You'll never truly know if rowing is right for you until you try it!
